Zenelaj, et al. v. Handybook dba Handy

Browne Labor Law and Goldstein, Borgen, Dardarian & Ho filed a proposed class action lawsuit on October 30, 2014 on behalf of current and former cleaners who worked for Handybook dba Handy in California.  Plaintiffs Vilma Zenelaj and Greta Zenelaj allege that Handybook dba Handy misclassified its cleaners as independent contractors when they really are employees.  Plaintiffs seek, on behalf of themselves and the putative class, unpaid overtime, reimbursement for business expenses, wages for all hours worked, premiums for missed meal and rest periods, unremitted gratuities, and related compensation and penalties as a result of being misclassified.
