David H. Browne is a California employee rights attorney admitted to practice in California (2008), Washington D.C (2009), and Florida (2011). Before forming Browne Labor Law, Mr. Browne was an employee rights attorney with Wenzel Fenton Cabassa, P.A. in Tampa, Florida. Prior to joining Wenzel Fenton Cabassa, P.A, Mr. Browne led a statewide voter protection effort in the Sunshine State. Previously, he counseled, mentored and taught juvenile justice system youth for four years in California. Mr. Browne first worked with at-risk youth as an AmeriCorps member in San Diego County, serving the North County cities of Escondido, Oceanside, San Marcos, Vista and Carlsbad. He continued to work with at-risk youth throughout law school with Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY) in San Jose, California.
Mr. Browne received his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law (December 2007). The School of Law recognized Mr. Browne with a LARAW Award for his legal research, writing and analysis. He also earned the Gold Pro Bono Award for his commitment to service throughout law school. Mr. Browne received his bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University, with honors, in 2003. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned admission to the Phi Beta Kappa Society, majoring in Economics and minoring in both Spanish and Sociology.
Mr. Browne is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association and the State Bar of California’s Labor and Employment Law Section.
In his free time, Mr. Browne enjoys the outdoors, and at the moment is particularly fond of paddle boarding, running, and playing tennis.
